Corbu
Corbu Linea is a single needle, tufted in cut pile carpet, made from 100% alpaca wool. One of the latest additions to the Casalis collection of carpets, it was designed and developed by textile designer Anita Kars. The name ‘Corbu Linea’ pays tribute to the two artists that provided the source of her inspiration for the carpet: The Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier, and the Dutch artist Piet Mondriaan. Their creative influence can be clearly seen in the deconstructed, industrial colour scheme of the collection, and the bold, striking lines that score the surface in cubic patterns. Corbu Linea can be made to measure, in tiles measuring in multiples of 25 centimeters.
